The Pit Farm Junior Tournament is a key event in the Nike Junior Tour 2010 for

under 12 and under 14 age group categories.

U18              U16

The Pit Farm Junior Tournament is a key event in the RPT Junior Tour 2010 for

under 16 and under 18 age group categories.

This Annual Junior Tournament is a highlight of the club's year with competitors from all parts of the

country and overseas taking part in the event.  The Boys and Girls Under 12 and Under 14 events

are part of the Nike Junior Tour. The Pit Farm Tournament is one of the nine throughout England and

the five players with the most points from these tournaments will compete against the winners of the

tour events in Scotland , Wales and Ireland .  The winners of these National Finals in each age group

will go forward to the International finals.  Previous winners of the international finals include Rafael

Nadal in 2000.


There will be Singles and Doubles events for Under 12s, Under 14s, Under 16s and Under 18s for

both Girls and Boys and Mixed Doubles events in the same age groups.  The singles events are

LTA Grade 4 competitions.


The tournament will also use outside courts at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford High School

for girls as well as Merrow Tennis Club.  Catering is provided to supply a wide selection of hot and

cold food throughout the full week of the tournament.
