Floodlights

•   We have floodlights on the middle three courts, which can be used until 9.30pm every night except Sundays and Bank Holidays (when they can't be used at all due to planning restrictions).

•   Our floodlights were upgraded in summer 2005 and extended to include court 5. The new lights are brighter than the previous ones and give less spillage of light outside the courts.

•   The Tuesday and Thursday night Club Evenings under floodlights remain popular throughout the Winter – please come down and join in these sessions. Whilst it may be tempting to stay in by the fire throughout the late autumn, winter and early spring months, our floodlights and all weather courts will make for a very enjoyable evening out.

•   For the rest of the week, members may book a floodlit court for up to 90 minutes.  The booking sheet can be found on the notice-board in the Clubhouse.  Floodlit courts can be booked from 12 noon on Saturday for the following week.

•   A token system operates to operate the floodlights. Tokens are free and each give 30 minutes of play.  Tokens can be found in the floodlight control boxes adjacent to court 3.
