Pit Farm wants to encourage its juniors to play more tennis and to do so competitively. The more juniors we have with an LTA rating the better, and this web-page provides you with all manner of information about how to get and maintain your rating, how to get information on competitions, when is the best time to get a court at Pit Farm and so on. Paul Kozak is introducing box leagues this summer. We would want all juniors playing in these box leagues to enrol with British Tennis and to have a rating. Then each of the results of these matches will be recorded and will count towards your rating.
If you need any information or advice on anything – Ask Paul Kozak (07538 571149 or paulkozak80@hotmail.com) or Steve Knight (01483 569504 or knightsm@hotmail.co.uk)

Etiquette / Rules during Matches
On the junior notice board, you can find three documents setting out rules/ etiquette and guidance for matches. These documents are also on the Pit Farm web-site in the Coaching and Junior Web Page. Whilst it is hoped that all matches will be played in a good spirit and most are, it is not uncommon (particularly when playing in competitive tournaments) for disputes to occur. If you feel that you are on the wrong end of a dispute (and this may be accidental as well as deliberate) – please raise your hand and ask for a referee to adjudicate.
Contacting other junior members
On the junior notice-board (which can be found on the left hand side just before you go through to the changing rooms), you can find a telephone list for all juniors. Please don’t remove this from the club house, but use this to call and arrange tennis with other junior members. Whereas the club cannot publish email addresses or share your personal information through facebook – that should not stop you from sharing email addresses and using facebook to communicate with each other to arrange to play more.
