Pit Farm offers its members a modern clubhouse with a full bar license, affordable bar pricing and a sunny veranda to make social gatherings fun for all. From late April to late September, Pit Farm teas (sandwiches, cakes and tea) are provided at club afternoon tennis sessions on both Saturdays and Sundays.
Members are welcome to make use of the kitchen and bar facilities at all times. In order to keep costs down, we do not employ bar staff. The bar can be opened by any member of the committee or by Derek Wakeling. Committee contact details are available on the “Links & Contacts” section of this web-site. The bar is open as a matter of course at all organised club tennis sessions.
Routinely, supper is available for those who want it on Tuesdays evenings. This is normally courtesy of Pit Farm’s own “Masterchef” – Mr David Gould. Just turn up for tennis as normal and let the resident chef know whether you are staying on for supper. So come up and play tennis and then stay on for some supper and something from the bar. Food costs are shared between the diners and typically between £3 and £5. Try getting better value than that!!! Every other month, we will alternate between holding this on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Ladies Dinner 2010

Events in 2011
SUMMER PARTY - Saturday 9th July from 7:30p.m. Food, drinking and entertainment. All adult and junior members, family and guess welcome.
WELDON CUP - Saturday 21st May; from 1:15p.m owards. Mixed Doubles Tournament followed by a barbeque. Maximum of 14 couples can play. Pairings are drawn at random. Non-entrants are welcome to join in for the food.
TEAMS' DINNER - Tuesday 4th October from 7:15p.m. All members that have played in any of the teams over the previous 12 months are welcome. Food free of charge and awards.
LADIES' SUPPER (Summer) - Wednesday TBD June from 7:30 p.m.
MEN'S ROUND ROBIN AND SOCIAL EVENING - Friday 24th June from 6:30p.m. (5 courts)
LADIES' SUPPER (Christmas) - Wednesday TBD December from 7:30 p.m.
